Dear Members,
What a wonderful year I have had as your President! I've met great people, had the opportunity to attend some fantastic conventions, learned a lot about IAAP and had the privilege to lead the Columbus Chapter. The goals that I set for us were simple. They centered on you, the members, and education. I wanted you to know that you are important and that this organization provides you with tools for excelling in your career.
Along the way, we've had music, laughter, fun and we got to know each other. You didn't know that I was a fan(atic) about purple did you? We made use of the color and the theme this year. What a creative team we have. As part of our theme, we will celebrate the CMA's in a couple weeks.
But do you remember what I said when my year as President started? To make music you need more than one note. It takes time, energy and people to have a successful IAAP chapter. Please make it your job to help.
I am preparing for my outgoing speech on June 17. I invite you to be there to celebrate all our accomplishments with me. I also want all the chapter members to be there so I can thank you. It will be my last opportunity to give out "Symphony" bars to those members who were part of the Columbus Chapter's "Hamony" in 2007-2008.
See you at the next meeting.
Linda
